Military Engine Fuel Control Overhaul, Repair, and Testing

Sabreliner's Independence, Kansas facility, originated in 1987, is dedicated to the efficient repair, overhaul, and test of turbine engine accessories. They are particularly well equipped, trained and experienced in the repair of fuel controls. The plant has approximately 30 calibrated flow and test benches and an assembly clean room controlled to FED-STD-209C. The military main/afterburner fuel controls for which Independence is currently equipped and in production include the J85, T53, T63, and T703. Start-up time for other similar controls would be minimal, for example, Independence could quickly begin work on T56 controls after making modifications to existing test equipment. J69 fuel controls, both in original form and with modifications recently introduced by the Air Force are also inspected, repaired, overhauled and tested at Independence.

The Independence facility is military- and/or OEM-qualified on all fuel controls they service. The Sabreliner location also is specifically recognized by Honeywell as an Authorized Warranty and Repair Station (AWARS) for the Bendix-brand fuel controls used on the Rolls-Royce Model 250 series of engines, including the T63 and T703.
