Sabreliner currently is a subcontractor to Lockheed Martin Aircraft and Logistics Centers (LMALC), Greenville, S.C., for manufacture of more than 100 different parts and components for the C-5 aircraft. The contract with LMALC is part of the company's Virtual Prime Vendor program, and constitutes essentially an ordering agreement under which Sabreliner agrees to produce, inventory and supply new parts such as panels, linkages, and controls over a multi-year period. The parts are produced in accordance with technical data and drawings furnished by LMALC and Sabreliner's ISO 9001 Quality Assurance system. This contract was competitively awarded in late 2000, based on Sabreliner's pricing and its performance/quality history on C-5 parts manufactured for LMALC under previous contracts.
