As the Commanding Officer of the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School (USNTPS) it is my pleasure to lead a 350 member team of instructional and maintenance personnel in the training of the world's finest Test Pilots, Test Naval Flight Officers and Flight Test Engineers. I recently had the pleasure of touring the facilities of Sabreliner's Perryville division which does Depot maintenance on the T-2 aircraft, including the ones we operate at USNTPS. The T-2 is a very important aircraft in our curriculum and fills a crucial role as a practice aircraft and spin trainer.

The personnel and capabilities I saw at Perryville were impressive. My squadron has been very pleased with quality of the T-2 aircraft that have come out of Perryville's depot maintenance and it's now clear to me why the workmanship is so good: the people at Perryville. From the attention to detail shown on every task, to the support and engineering personnel the operation is clearly outstanding.

Please pass along me sincere appreciation for an excellent tour and, moreover, for the excellent work done by the Sabreliner personnel in Perryville. You help us accomplish our mission every day.
